We are seeking a Technical Perfumer with strong GC-MS analytical expertise to join our fragrance development team. This role is primarily focused on fragrance duplication and reverse engineering, leveraging Gas Chromatography (GC) and Mass Spectrometry (MS) to match and recreate market-relevant fragrances. The primary responsibility will be ensuring accurate duplication of existing fragrances for various applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize GC-MS technology to analyze and accurately match fragrance compositions.
- Deconstruct and reformulate fragrances based on analytical data while ensuring performance consistency.
- Work with perfumers and lab teams to optimize formulas for different applications (fine fragrance, personal care, home care, etc.).
- Collaborate with QC and manufacturing teams to maintain consistency across production batches.
- Partner with sales and marketing teams to support customer-driven duplication requests.
- Assist in cost optimization by identifying alternative raw materials while maintaining olfactive integrity.
- Stay updated on industry advancements in analytical techniques and fragrance regulations.
