Your role

As a Perfumer, you will develop the next generation of trend-setting fragrances for both global and regional brands within the Consumer Fragrances division. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across the globe to create delightful scent experiences that resonate with consumers and align with our customers’ requirements.
You will excel in this role due to your strong artistic vision, excellent communication skills, and ability to translate marketing concepts, product benefits, and consumer needs into compelling and preferred fragrances.
Essential Functions:
- Design and refine innovative fragrances tailored to client briefs based on consumer preferences and market trends for Household Applications particularly in Fabric Care and Air Care. Your creations will play a key role in driving our corporate growth objectives.
- Proactively create fragrances and develop new scent technologies to support key regional and global strategic category programs. This work will strengthen the foundational knowledge and capabilities for key products and brands.
- Work closely with R&D to discover and select cutting-edge raw materials and ensure our fragrances are crafted with the highest quality and meet industry standards.
- Lead the execution of sensory and stability studies of raw materials and fragrances across various applications and product bases. Your guidance will ensure optimal scent development resulting in superior fragrance experience delivered throughout the product lifetime.
- Partner with cross-functional teams internally and clients throughout the fragrance development journey, offering insights and recommendations to drive successful business outcomes.

About you
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry or a related field, along with prior formal training in perfumery is required.
- A minimum of 8 years of industry experience, with a proven track record of successfully developing fragrances for the Fabric and Air Care markets. Experience in Surface Care and other household products is also desirable.
