What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Scheduler (P6 & Aha) - Houston,TX position at Onset Technologies?
What will you be doing:
- Develop and maintain schedules in P6 & Aha
- Work with 5-6 project managers concurrently to support projects in various phases of design and construction.
- Load and maintain resources within the schedule in an engineering/construction environment.
- Responsible for ensuring quality checks and inspections on project controls deliverables.
- Ability to compare schedules to financial data to ensure consistency of project timeline.
- Ability to communicate and understand the technical progress of electric utility transmission lines, substations, and/or telecommunication projects.
- Ability to integrate schedule data and other data sources in excel via formulas, pivot tables, macros, etc.
What experience do you need to have to succeed
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or business from an accredited program.
- Minimum 3 years of related experience in Engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) projects
- Experience in P6 & Aha required
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
- Entry-level position, no prior experience required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
