What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Day Camp Counselor position at Onslow County?

Note: This position will be placed at Swansboro Elementary School. These are temporary, seasonal positions that can work up to 40 hours a week for the ten-week camp period. The camp dates for 2025 are June 23 through August 15.Qualification Requirements

- Assists in conducting various educational activities, programs, field trips, etc.
- Provides oversight for camp participants.
- Assists with ensuring adequate resources are planned, requested, and available for activities.
- Enforces policies and procedures of the summer camp program, Parks and Recreation, and Onslow County.
- Assists with maintaining records and provides reports on a periodic basis as required.
- Assists with evaluating program needs and reporting.
- Performs related tasks as required.
Special Requirements:
-CPR certification preferred or ability to obtain when hired.
Salary will be determined by candidate's qualifications, budget, market, and internal equity.
Salary : $17 - $22
