Job Summary : The Senior Marketing Manager at Onspire leads client relationships with a strategy-first approach, managing integrated marketing, communications, and advertising for healthcare clients, particularly hospitals and health systems. They develop strategic plans, serve as the main client contact, and demonstrate strong critical thinking, communication, and decision-making skills. This role will oversee the development of strategic marketing and communication plans for B2B and B2C clients. Reports to the Director of Marketing and Client Services, the Senior Marketing Manager may also oversee a Marketing Coordinator.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with the agencies' strategies to advise clients on effective marketing, positing strategies, and tactical plans.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Director to ensure client relationship health, meeting goals while maintaining profitability for projects and statements of work.
  • Translate client objectives for the creative team, ensuring alignment with the creative process.
  • Cultivate and sustain long-term relationships with client executives and key contacts.
  • Identify opportunities to expand or create new statements of work that align with clients’ strategic priorities.
  • Oversee account management to ensure projects are executed on time, on budget, and on strategy.
  • Leverage healthcare marketing experience to develop data-driven strategies, positioning, and brand-building efforts in collaboration with senior strategists.
  • Manage day-to-day client relationships and communications, delivering integrated campaigns across local, regional, and national markets.
  • Stay informed on clients’ business, competition, and marketing goals to define business challenges and apply insights effectively.
  • Drive marketing plan implementation, collaborating with internal teams on campaign execution, ROI tracking, budget management, and KPI monitoring.
  • Lead engagement with external partners, including media buyers, print and production vendors, and digital technology firms.
  • What You’ll Need :

  • Bachelor’s degree required : related field, Marketing Communications preferred.
  • Master’s degree preferred : MBA, MHA, or similar.
  • 5-7 years of experience in marketing and strategy experience preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare and hospital marketing preferred.
  • Strong critical thinking, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills; extensive knowledge of the strategic marketing planning process.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute effective marketing strategies and tactics.
  • Ability to review and analyze a variety of data to develop marketing and positioning recommendations
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, and capable of producing professional results within tight deadlines
  • Strong people skills, and the ability to contribute strategic ideas to and communicate effectively and professionally with clients, comfortable with public speaking opportunities and leading client discussions.
