The Ontario Airport Hotel and Conference Center, a vibrant 309-room hotel, under new ownership, is embarking on an exciting renovation. We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Front Desk Agent. . Must have experience, with customer service skills. Must be able to work weekends, and Holidays. We are looking for a full time agent and Part Time agents. Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Check-in and check-out hotel guests efficiently and accurately.
- Answer phone calls, provide information, and assist with guest inquiries.
- Handle reservations and cancellations via phone, email, or in-person.
- Ensure guest information is accurately entered into the system.
- Provide guests with information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services.
- Process guest payments and handle cash, credit cards, and other payment methods.
- Address guest complaints or concerns and resolve them in a timely and effective manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
- Assist with any special guest requests or requirements during their stay.
- Ensure all relevant paperwork and logs are completed in compliance with hotel policies.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and other departments to meet guest needs.
- Follow safety and security procedures, including key control and emergency protocols.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality or related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in customer service, hotel, or front desk operations is preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
- Proficiency with hotel management software or willingness to learn (e.g., Opera, HMS).
- A positive attitude and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest service.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Mathematical skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Availability: The hotel operates 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. Schedules must accommodate fluctuating business demands
