Ontario Christian seeks a Educational Support Manager to lead our Learning Center (Special Education) program. The Educational Support Manager oversees the K-8 educational support services and all student accommodation plans. This role ensures our Christian values are upheld and interwoven into the practices of the Learning Center. This role will manage the Learning Center Teachers and Aides.
Responsibilities include coordinating with local school districts for students who have accommodation plans, designing and implementing Response to Intervention (RtI) and guiding the Student Performance Opportunity Team (SPOT) process. The Educational Support Manager collaborates with administrators to develop policies and procedures for students with an IEP / ISP or 504 Plan.
The ideal candidate should have 3 - 5 years of classroom teaching experience in the applicable subject. Prior experience working in a Christian school environment and / or a Protestant Christian Church setting is a plus. As a Educational Support Manager at Ontario Christian School, the candidate should be a follower of Jesus Christ, work collaboratively with co-workers, provide excellent customer service, proactively identify and fix problems, and exhibit a servant's heart.
Experience
- Three (3) years of teaching experience in the applicable field, Special Education Experience preferred.
- Administrative experience.
