Job Title: IT Cluster Support
Schedule: Monday - Friday, (8am - 5pm) must be able to work a flexible schedule

Reports To: IT Infrastructure Lead
Job Purpose
Responsible for managing all cluster-related issues, ranging from configuration changes to troubleshooting malfunctions. This role requires close coordination with the local Infrastructure Lead. The primary objective is to align with business needs, ensuring that daily IT support is delivered promptly, efficiently, and with a customer-first approach. You will collaborate closely with the Global IT Cluster and other members of the local IT Group to ensure a seamless transition of new services and optimal support for all services within your scope. Being part of the IT organization, you will take a shared responsibility within project workgroups, defined by the IT Cluster Leadership. You will respect the boundaries of the IT rules & regulations.
Main Responsibilities and Key Tasks
- Take responsibility for infrastructure projects assigned to you.
- Provide assistance in local Servers, and Network Communications.
- Prepare and coordinate new hardware/software deployments and upgrades.
- Maintain and administer asset management within the location(s) under your responsibilities.
- Provides basic training to users on equipment operations. Instructs users on operation of local, company-based applications.
- Align on local business needs with local finance, plant, or country manager and IT Cluster Leader / responsible to ensure that both local business requirements and corporate initiatives are aligned.
- Translate corporate IT policies, rules, and regulations towards the local business under your responsibility.
- Consolidate and centralize all support documentation (support guides, vendor support documents & key support contacts). Review the documentation quarterly.
- Take the lead on implementing, planning and communicate on changes, new technologies, downtime and issues to both end-users, local business management as within IT, where applicable.
- Drive change through the organization by creating an open and honest communication platform, respect all IT procedures, embrace, and uphold digital safety and provide feedback when needed.
Educational Requirements
- Minimum 2-4 years' experience within a similar IT Infrastructure & Support function.
Prior Work Experience Requirements

- Hands on, proactive and responsible, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Result-oriented, self-starting, self-motivated and able to work independently.

Solid knowledge on Infrastructural IT Landscape:
- Servers, PCs& storage configuration
- IP PBX administration and configuration (Mitel)
- Local configuration of AD (Active Directory)

- Cloud Platforms (Azure, Intune, Office365)
- Networking
- Cisco Routing, Switching and Wireless
- Link Connections (MPLS, VPN, Internet)

Job Complexity and Challenges
- Configuration and daily operation Network of firewalls, routers, switches, and access points.
- Monitoring of communications (MPLS, VPN, Internet)
- Monitoring of local infrastructure components (servers, storage)
- Support with infrastructure issues:
- PCs, Laptops, Printers, Scanners, and shop floor devices.
- Communication with local managers and with cluster IT Leader.
