Job Purpose
We are seeking a Junior Process Engineer to drive process stability and continuous improvement within our Autonomous Manufacturing Unit (AMU). This role is crucial in optimizing production efficiency, ensuring product quality, and implementing lean manufacturing principles. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring and improving processes across 4-7 production lines, with a specific focus on diaper manufacturing operations. This position plays a vital role in achieving operational excellence and maintaining our high standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Process Optimization and Quality Control:
- Drive process stability and product quality improvements across the AMU
- Monitor and analyze process stability programs, historical trends, and KPI data
- Lead root cause analysis on OEE losses (operational and performance)
- Execute and optimize product/size changeovers
- Maintain zero-accident safety standards
Documentation and Standards:
- Develop and maintain process specifications, procedures, and work instructions
- Create and update operational standards
- Audit standard application on the shop floor
- Document and share best practices across AMUs
Continuous Improvement:
- Implement Lean Manufacturing (OMEX) principles
- Drive OEE improvement through data analysis and solution implementation
- Participate in Capex projects, providing process expertise
- Lead waste elimination initiatives within the AMU
Training and Leadership:
- Train and mentor production staff on new processes
- Share best practices with Process Engineers from other AMUs
- Provide technical guidance to production teams
Requirements
- Technical Bachelor's degree
- 2-3 years of manufacturing experience
- MUST HAVE diaper manufacturing experience and knowledge
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Advanced computer skills
- Comprehensive understanding of lean manufacturing principles
- Experience with OEE analysis and SMED
- Proven track record in process improvement
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with automated manufacturing systems
- Six Sigma certification
- Project management experience
- Experience with quality management systems
- Background in hygiene product manufacturing
