Job Purpose
Ontex Operations USA is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Warehousing/Logistics IT & Data Analyst for a key position within the Supply Chain IT & Data team. The individual will be responsible for supporting global logistics, warehousing, and procurement operations. This role focuses on analyzing and optimizing data flows and systems related to warehousing, inventory, and logistics, ensuring seamless alignment and integration with the overall IT & Data landscape and business strategy. The position plays a crucial role in driving operational excellence through technology and data-driven solutions across all Ontex locations worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
Systems and Operations Management:
- Configure, test, and maintain SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) systems to ensure availability, reliability, and functionality
- Manage EDI communication with external warehouses and suppliers
- Provide second-line support to business users via the helpdesk tool
- Monitor business applications performance based on tickets and SLA compliance
- Implement and document changes approved by the Change Advisory Board (CAB)
Process and Data Management:
- Analyze and optimize data flows related to warehousing, inventory, and logistics
- Identify, document, and improve worldwide business applications template using best practices
- Ensure data consistency and quality across manufacturing systems and applications
- Integrate with Centralized Business Model (CBM) and FICO setup
- Write technical specifications for program changes for the Integration & Development team
Training and Documentation:
- Provide key user training via the train-the-trainer concept
- Maintain and update training documentation
- Create and maintain system documentation and process flows
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in IT, Warehousing, or Logistics, preferably in consumer goods
- Strong proficiency in SAP EWM/WM modules
- Advanced skills in MS Excel, SQL, Power BI, or similar database tools
- Excellent business process analysis skills
- Fluent in English and local language (both verbal and written)
- Experience working with global teams across different time zones
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in consumer goods industry
- Knowledge of integration and data governance methodologies
- Experience with business intelligence and IoT platforms
- Background in process optimization and continuous improvement
- Project management certification or experience
