Our team is looking for a Test Engineer to join them. You will report to the Test Engineering Manager and will have an onsite work schedule in Chatsworth, CA.
To be considered for the Test Engineer role, here's what you'll need to bring with you :
- 5 years of experience in electronics, electromechanical, pneumatics, hydraulics field working with test stands in a production environment.
- Relevant Experience automating test equipment and measurement techniques to verify / validate product requirements using Labview. CLD preferred.
- Familiarity with National Instruments platforms including DAQmx, PXI, and cRIO.
- Understanding of instrumentation, interfaces, and sensors including DMMs, DAQ, power supplies, oscilloscopes, DIO, GPIB, USB, Serial-422, VISA, UDP, GigE, SPI, switch technologies / topologies, accelerometers, RTDs, thermocouples, and 4-20mA sensors.
- Understanding and experience in environmental testing such as vibration, shock, thermal, and burn-in.
- Understanding of electrical schematics and electronics manufacturing to analyze / improve test coverage
- Experience developing functional test plans from product requirements and analysis of schematics
- The ability to create Labview code and GUI from scratch to meet ATP requirements and the ability to correlate to previous test methods.
