OnTrack Rogue Valley is looking for a professional and personable Human resources Assistant!
Pay: Starting at $23.50/hour, full-time

- PTO (Paid Time Off) includes a graduated accrual rate, which increases with length of service. The accrual is a maximum of 150 hours (18.75 days) for new hire employees. Accrual begins on the first day of employment.
- OnTrack observes 9 Holidays: New Year’s Day, MLK Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, December 24th and December 25th. We also offer two additional days that are designated as “floating holidays” and two Mental Health Days. These may be requested for use at any time after 90 days of employment.
- Retirement plan – OnTrack offers a 403(b)-retirement savings plan. Staff members may set up an account at any time and are eligible for the employer match after 1 year of service. The organization matches the staff savings, up to 6% of annual wages. The match is discretionary and is set and approved annually. Employees are vested after 6 years of service; automatic vesting occurs for employees who reach age 62, or who have 5 years of service, whichever is later.
JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for the administrative support of day-to-day operations of assigned HR functions and duties. Functional area assignments may include data entry, filing, records management, benefits administration, recruiting, onboarding, training coordination and payroll processing support. This position must proactively coordinate a variety of personnel-related administrative duties to support effective and efficient operations of the department and organization.
Skills:
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
· Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn payroll management, human resource information system (HRIS), and similar computer applications
· Ability to prioritize various projects and tasks while meeting multiple deadlines
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Experience and Skills Requirements:
· 3 years of office administrative experience
· 2 years of employee relations experience
· Prior HR Assistant (or related position experience) helpful
Education/Licensure/Certification requirement:
· Associate degree preferred; additional experience in lieu of education considered
Background/ Drug Screen: Clear background check; ability to pass a drug screen
References: 3 professional references required to verify experience
