Job Summary:
Onvo is a brand that is committed to fun, creativity, and kindness, and we’re looking for a Social Media Manager that is committed to bringing those values to life on social media. As Social Media Manager, you’ll be responsible for building and engaging with a community of Onvo super fans across all social channels. This role focuses on creating original photographic and video content and social copy, building a community on our social media platforms, engaging with customers, and identifying and connecting with influencers and other potential brand ambassadors. You will be working closely with the Director of Marketing to develop a content calendar that fits with the overall brand strategy and promotional calendar. You’ll be required to collaborate with other departments to develop a Social Media Strategy and execution plan that includes content creation, influencer/brand ambassador partnerships, and in-store activations. You’ll work closely with the design team, digital team, and marketing team to build a plan to get customers more engaged with the brand on social media by creating more shareable moments in-store, developing contests and giveaways, and assisting coverage of events at the store level.
Essential Functions:
- Create original photo and video content to be shared across social channels including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok and others.
- Work with Director of Marketing to define Social Media Strategy.
- Develop monthly content calendar.
- Engage with community on social channels via liking, commenting, and reposting content.
- Identify potential influencer partners, create concepts for potential influencer campaigns, and execute and manage said campaigns.
- Develop content that supports overall brand marketing campaigns.
- Provide social media coverage for in-store events and activations.
- Visit retail locations to create content in-store.
- Track trends and provide monthly reports on social media channel performance.
- Support digital channels with new ideas and initiatives to continuously evolve and strengthen these channels, grow followers and support new and existing social media platforms.
- Monitor and reply to comments and schedule content using Sprout Social.
- Define KPIs for success on all social channels.
- Monitor and evaluate other industry retailer social accounts to determine industry trends on social media.
- Craft engaging and meaningful content that is reflective of Onvo’s brand voice.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong copy writing skills.
- Strong photo and video skills.
- Understanding of all major social platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, and Threads.
- Great written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative mindset and ability to plan and execute.
- Ability to collaborate with other departments and outside partners.
- Some travel is required.
Credentials and Experience:
- Two to five years of social media experience.
- Bachelor’s degree.
Physical Requirements:
You may be required to lift boxes up to 50 pounds.
