Press Operator

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. As a Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining press brake machines to form metal components to precise specifications. This is a crucial role in our production process, ensuring that parts meet quality standards and are completed on time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal materials.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job orders.
• Select and load materials into the press brake machine based on specifications.
• Adjust machine settings such as pressure, speed, and angles to ensure proper operation and high-quality output.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot any malfunctions or issues.
• Inspect finished products for accuracy, quality, and conformance to specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Work closely with other production staff to meet deadlines and ensure smooth workflow.
• Follow all safety protocols and company policies.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a press brake operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and job specifications.
• Strong knowledge of press brake operations, tooling, and setup procedures.
• Familiarity with different types of metal materials and their properties.
• Ability to work with precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in machine operation or a related field.
• Knowledge of quality control processes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
