Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Digital Marketing Coordinator to help manage the end-to-end workflow of marketing content development, review, and publishing across various digital channels. This role will support the execution of digital marketing efforts, ensure timely delivery of content, and collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure materials meet quality, compliance, and branding standards.
The candidate will be responsible for the marketing coordination of content management, email distribution, and maintaining editorial calendars while ensuring all work aligns with company guidelines and deadlines.
Hourly pay range: $35 - $40/hr, paid weekly, benefits eligible.
Duration: 4 - 6 months.
Location Type: Hybrid in NYC.
Marketing Coordinator Key Responsibilities:
- Content Management: Oversee the end-to-end process for marketing content creation, including reviewing and proofreading content produced by external vendors, ensuring compliance, and managing the update and reposting of materials across various digital platforms.
- Email Marketing Support: Manage the setup, distribution, and list maintenance for email campaigns. This includes formatting and editing email content (no design required) and ensuring it adheres to company standards before submission for compliance approval.
- Platform & Content Maintenance: Coordinate the submission, uploading, and tracking of content across platforms. This includes ensuring website copy, social media posts, and other marketing materials are accurate and up-to-date.
- Editorial Calendar Management: Maintain and update editorial and content calendars, ensuring that content deadlines and project milestones are met, and all stakeholders are aligned with the schedule.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Communication: Act as the liaison between marketing, business leads, and other key stakeholders to support the execution of marketing campaigns, ensuring effective communication and smooth execution of initiatives.
- Compliance & Approval Process: Facilitate the content approval process, ensuring that all marketing materials, including emails and social media posts, meet compliance requirements and are properly approved before distribution.
- Ad Hoc Tasks: Perform other marketing-related duties as required, supporting various initiatives and projects.
Marketing Coordinator Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience: 3 years of relevant experience in marketing or content management, with a focus on digital marketing and editorial tasks.
- Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in the financial services sector is preferred.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to manage projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills to interact with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with content management systems, email marketing platforms, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
