Staff Product Designer (App).

This is a fully remote, W2 contract.Slated for several months, this could extend or convert.

This design is solely focused on app design, and all applicants must have experience designing apps, with super apps a plus. All candidates must have

• travel industry experience

This role will bring together multiple tools and products cohesively, and bring a level of delight to the app experience. This role will also be responsible for working with brand and content designers to elevate the brand while fostering customer trust and loyalty.

ResponsibilitiesCollaborate closely with cross-functional partners including product managers, engineers, brand designers, a content designer, data analysts, and other designers to craft end-to-end experience that engage our customers and optimize for conversion and other key metricsStrategically leverage the existing design system, and expand it to create a north star for the appPartner with designers from across the organization to gather requirements and understand the user needs and the business requirements to inform your designIterate and create new designs and prototypes to share with stakeholders and partners for alignment, and with customers for insight gathering (using Figma).Work with a content designer to create a branded narrative throughout the experience designRequirementsMust have 6 years experience, with a focus on building products and apps and collaborating with engineering teams to take ideas from conception to execution.Proven experience in building and contributing to design systems.Experience working on “0-1” consumer products in a startup environment.Strong product design skills, emphasizing visual design and user experience (hierarchy, layout, interactions).Ability to design across various breakpoints and devices, bridging the gap between design and code.Experience leveraging user research and quantitative data to inform design decisions.Experience with user retention and growth strategies.Experience with travel or fintech apps.
