We’re currently seeking a Program Manager III for an exciting contract opportunity with a leading EdTech company that delivers innovative educational content, software, and services for students and educators across various levels. This fully remote, 6-month contract role offers the opportunity to play a critical role in delivering impactful projects for a well-established organization.
As the Program Manager III , you will be responsible for facilitating the successful delivery of a program by ensuring that the team consistently meets commitments on time and to the highest quality standards. You will help guide teams through agile methodologies, coach on best practices, and drive continuous improvement within the development process.
Key Responsibilities :
Facilitate the delivery of a program, ensuring timely completion of commitments with a focus on quality.
Champion agile methodologies throughout the development lifecycle, ensuring adherence to the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Act as scrum master for 1-2 teams, ensuring the appropriate agile ceremonies occur and deliver valuable outcomes.
Ensure projects have a prioritized backlog, documented delivery plan, and clear identification of dependencies.
Own and manage the communication plan across the program to ensure transparency and buy-in on key decisions.
Proactively identify and remove impediments, resolving issues and mitigating risks to ensure the successful delivery of team commitments.
Coordinate the delivery and release of projects across teams and stakeholders.
Participate in process identification or creation to improve team workflow and efficiency.
Key Requirements :
3-5 years of experience in a program management or project management role.
Experience as a Scrum Master, with the ability to coach other teams on agile best practices.
Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence for managing project tasks and communication.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to interact with a broad range of stakeholders.
Ability to work collaboratively across teams and departments, fostering a positive and productive working environment.
Self-motivated, well-organized, and capable of prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Positive attitude and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Desired Skills :
In-depth knowledge of software development and adoption, ideally within the EdTech sector.
Agile program and project management experience is highly preferred.
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certification is a plus.
Familiarity with Slack and other collaboration tools is a bonus.
Strong leadership, negotiation, conflict management, and critical thinking abilities.
