This is a 6 month contract opportunity. The role is located in Culver City, CA and is hybrid with 3 days weekly onsite.

The Global Financial Operations Order to Cash Team is seeking a Senior Analyst to manage Accounts Receivable for a dynamic domestic television production business. This role supports one of the industry’s leading content providers, producing content across multiple genres and platforms.
The Senior Analyst will collaborate with customers and internal departments to ensure timely collection of outstanding receivables and prepare accurate financial and management reports, including cash forecasts and budgets. This role also requires a proactive mindset to drive process improvements and enhance operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain receivables through consistent and effective collection efforts.
- Develop collection strategies to meet or exceed cash flow targets.
- Coordinate customer requests to facilitate timely payments.
- Prepare accounts receivable aging reports, collection status updates, and other month-end reports.
- Reconcile monthly cash receipts and billings.
- Prepare quarterly bad debt reserve schedules.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end close procedures.
- Develop quarterly cash forecasts and budgets, analyzing variances in actual cash receipts.
- Ensure proper allocation of cash receipts and maintain low cash-on-account balances.
- Respond to audit requests as needed.
- Improve operational efficiency by streamlining processes and automating reporting.
- Prepare ad-hoc reports, analyses, and special projects as assigned.
Requirements:
- 3 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Entertainment industry experience, particularly in television production, preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated, assertive, and deadline-driven.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a keen eye for detail.
