Summary of Job Description :
The Senior Operations Financial Analyst supports Operations by training and advising Operators to elevate their financial acumen and improve their financial performance. This position works directly with the Finance team, providing actionable insights in form of reports and analysis. The Senior Operations Financial Analyst analyzes food, labor, and other costs and their respective drivers to help Operations achieve their financial and operational targets.
You’ll get a chance to :
- Create and publish reports and presentations with actionable insights at store, area, region and zone level as needed.
- Extract and synthesize data into management reports
- Help troubleshoot and resolve common data accuracy issues with financial reporting and systems and makes recommendations to resolve them
- Coordinate the preparation and presentation of regional financial plans and interprets trends and financial results of the regions.
- Create and publish KPI reports by working closely with Finance, HR, and IS.
- Partner with Operations through one on one or group interactions to address any requests, identify opportunities or resolve issues.
- Develop financial reporting for varying levels of management within the region, effectively communicating actionable and impactful insights.
- Build credibility as a trusted partner within and outside of Finance.

While performing duties, counter areas are often hot with steam from steam table and food vapors. Workspace is restricted and employees are generally expected to remain standing for long periods of time. Employees must prepare hot and cold foods, use Chinese cook knife and other kitchen equipment and work quickly without losing accuracy. Employees must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand up to four hours and reach across counter tops measured at 36 inches to serve customers. Kitchens are hot and noise levels are usually high; storage space is limited and shelving is high. Employees must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment, have effective verbal communication skills, ability to adapt to a dynamic environment with changing priorities, and the ability to manage conflicts / difficult situations.
