Job Summary :
We are seeking a Loan Processor to join our financial services team. The Loan Processor will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing loan applications, verifying applicant information, and ensuring all loan documents are complete and accurate. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills, be detail-oriented, and have a strong ability to multitask.
Key Responsibilities :
- Review loan applications and supporting documentation for completeness and accuracy
- Verify applicant information, including credit reports, employment, income, and assets
- Communicate with applicants and loan officers to gather additional information as needed
- Prepare and submit loan files to underwriters for approval
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations governing loan processing
- Maintain accurate records of loan applications, approvals, and denials
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients throughout the loan process
- Collaborate with loan officers and underwriters to resolve any issues that arise during the loan process
- Meet or exceed established production goals and deadlines
- Associate or bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in loan processing or related field
- Knowledge of loan processing software and technology
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing loan processing
