Human Resources Specialist

In a globally growing healthcare market, we are looking for a full-time People Specialist to strengthen our team in Memphis, TN.

A People Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the HR department, including recruiting, onboarding, managing employee relations, and ensuring compliance with HR policies and legal regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

· Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from job postings, onboarding, orientation, etc.

· Administer employee benefits programs, health, retirement, medical leave etc.

· Enter, maintain, and ensure proper processing of timekeeping and payroll

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records in the Human resources information system (HRIS)

· Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related matters.

· Address employee concerns and grievances, and mediating conflicts to promote a respectful work environment

· Ensure maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness in recommended solutions

· Promote a positive corporate culture through close collaboration with managers and teams

· Analyze and optimize HR data to facilitate data-driven decision making, enabling businesses to understand their performance, identify trends, and make informed choices to improve operations and achieve goals

· Support change management processes and promote organizational agility

· Ensure company policies and practices are compliant with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations

· Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources and talent management

Education:

· Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required.

Experience:

· Two years of HR experience including recruitment and hiring experience preferred

Skills:

· Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, written and verbal

· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

· Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment law and regulations

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office, and related software

· Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems and payroll system, ADP

· Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines, prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
