Description
As a Switchboard Operator at OOIDA, you will be the first point of contact for our members and callers. Your primary responsibilities will involve managing a multi-line phone system, answering calls promptly and professionally, and determining the purpose of each call to ensure it is directed to the appropriate department or individual.
Supporting small businesses one member at a time. Since 1973, OOIDA has represented the interests of independent owner-operators and professional drivers on all issues that affect truckers. The Association participates in virtually every significant rulemaking affecting professional truckers, testifies at all major hearings on trucking issues, and participates in industry-wide organizations and conferences.

Responsibilities
- Answering, determining purpose and forwarding calls on a multi-line, integrated digital phone system
- Answer questions about the Association and provide callers with address, directions, and other information that may be asked
- Ensures release of information is consistent with all privacy policies
Compensation
- $16.00/hr.
Qualifications
Required
- High School Diploma or GED
- Microsoft Office Suite experience
