Oomkes Landscape Mgt Inc has been caring for landscapes in the greater Grand Rapids area since 1932 and have built our company on a foundation of excellence.

ABOUT YOU:
- 1 year of mowing experience (commercial & residential properties)
- positive attitude
- good stewardship of time and equipment
- high attention to detail
- ability to drive a truck with a trailer (safely)
- maintain professional personal appearance
- safely operate equipment
- complete necessary paperwork (route sheets & maintenance logs)
- ability to train others (preferred, not required)
- perform minor maintenance on equipment
DAILY DUTIES (General Overview):
- spring/fall clean-ups
- mowing
- trimming
- edging
- various other landscape and lawn enhancement duties
- snow removal (winter work; premium pay when applicable)
PHYSICAL ABILITIES:
You must be able to physically do all of the following...
- ...stand for extended periods of time.
- ...bend, stoop, and kneel frequently.
- ...lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly.
- ...work extended hours.
- ...tolerate extreme temperatures (heat, cold, & other inclement weather).
- ...work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
- ...follow Company instructions, policies, and procedures (written & verbal).
JOB SUMMARY:
Oomkes Landscape Management is seeking a dedicated Mowing Crew Member to join the Team! The ideal candidate will assist in projects that include but are not limited to, the responsibilities detailed above. If you meet the above criteria, we would love to hear from you!
We are currently hiring for both seasonal and full-time positions. Full-time, year-round positions transition into snow work during the winter months.
