Our client, a leader in the Construction industry, is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their team in Dallas, TX. This is a hands-on, onsite role that will focus on electrical system design, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement electrical systems and controls for manufacturing processes.
- Troubleshoot and maintain electrical equipment, including PLCs, HMIs, and automation systems.
- Ensure compliance with NFPA, NEC, OSHA, and other industry regulations.
- Lead projects involving electrical upgrades, system integration, and new equipment installation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineers, production managers, and maintenance teams.
- Perform root cause analysis and recommend solutions to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.
- Develop and maintain electrical schematics, technical documentation, and wiring diagrams.
- Assist with capital projects, including budgeting and vendor coordination.
- Train maintenance personnel on electrical troubleshooting and best practices.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- PE License
- 5 years of experience in electrical engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong expertise in PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.) and industrial automation.
- Knowledge of low-voltage and medium-voltage power distribution systems.
- Experience with motor controls, VFDs, power systems, and instrumentation.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical or similar design software.
- Familiarity with LEAN manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in high-speed manufacturing, food & beverage, aerospace, or automotive industries.
- Knowledge of SCADA, MES, and IIoT systems.
Salary : $120,000 - $140,000
