Job Summary:
The Human Resources Generalist- Training and Compliance Administrator will play a key role in managing Human Resource functions, with a strong focus on training and development initiatives. This position will primarily be responsible for talent development programs and compliance that enhance workforce skills and drive employee engagement with an opportunity to assist in in other areas of Human Resources.
Key Responsibilities:
Training Program Development & Management
- Develop, implement, and facilitate training programs that align with company goals and compliance requirements, including but not limited to New Hire Orientation, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training, Crisis Prevention Institute training (CPI), Driving Certifications, and training programs to develop employee skills and knowledge through different platforms, including Relias and ADP LMS.
- Coordinate and track employee participation in required training programs, including onboarding, annual refresher courses, and specialized training.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make improvements as necessary.
- Utilize AI tools such as Microsoft Co-Pilot, Canva, and other automation software to streamline design and content creation.
Compliance Oversight
- Ensure organizational adherence to all applicable legal and regulatory requirements, including but not limited to labor laws, safety regulations, and nonprofit governance.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement policies that align with regulatory standards and organizational goals.
- Maintain training records, reports, and documentation to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Monitor and track compliance deadlines and deliverables, ensuring timely completion and submission of required reports.
- Conduct regular internal audits to ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
Generalist Duties
- Partner up with Human Resources team to assist in recruitment, onboarding, engagement initiatives, retention strategies, benefits administration, leave management, and HR policy implementation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field or 3 years of HR experience, with a focus on training and development preferred.
- Strong knowledge of California labor laws and HR compliance.
- Experience in designing and delivering employee training programs.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems such as Relias and ADP LMS, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Skills:
- Proficiency in AI-powered tools such as Microsoft Co-Pilot, Canva, PowerPoint, Google Slides, and other relevant platforms.
- Experience in data visualization and integrating multimedia elements into presentations.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.
