Personal Care :

Assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
Helping clients with mobility, including transferring (e.g., from bed to wheelchair) and ambulation.
Monitoring and maintaining hygiene.

Household Assistance :

Light housekeeping tasks (e.g., laundry, tidying up, changing linens).

Preparing meals and ensuring clients follow prescribed diets.

Assisting with errands such as grocery shopping or picking up prescriptions.

Companionship :

Engaging clients in conversation and activities to combat loneliness.

Accompanying clients to appointments, social activities, or outings.

Medication and Health Monitoring :

Reminding clients to take prescribed medications on time (not administering unless certified and allowed by state laws).

Observing and reporting changes in a client’s condition to family members or supervisors.

Assisting with simple health-related tasks, such as checking temperature or weight (if trained and permitted).

Client Advocacy :

Reporting concerns regarding the client’s well-being to family members, supervisors, or healthcare providers.

Ensuring the client’s safety and comfort at all times.

Emotional Support :

Offering empathy, encouragement, and a positive attitude to help clients maintain their emotional well-being.
