Job Title : FVP & Sr. Financial Reporting Officer
Department : Accounting
We are looking for FVP & Sr. Financial Reporting Officer to join our team. The Senior Financial Reporting Officer is primarily responsible for accurate and timely filings of SEC reports, and oversee the effective administration of SOX programs.
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare accurate SEC reports, including Annual Reports (Forms 10-K), Quarterly Reports (10-Q), Current Reports (Form 8-K), Proxy Statements (Form DEF 14A), Beneficial Ownership Reports (Forms 3, 4, and 5), ensuring compliance with US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
- Manage internal and external reviews and audits of SEC reports.
- Collaborate and work closely with internal Treasury team and various departments, including Accounting and Credit Admin, to gather necessary information for SEC filings.
- Take initiatives for process improvements to optimize SEC reporting.
- Develop and implement internal controls, best practices, and strategies to identify process deficiencies and implement improvements.
- Assess SOX training needs, develop training programs, and ensure control owners are sufficiently trained on internal control requirements.
Requirements / Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.Minimum 5 years of experience in SEC reporting and SOX compliance in banking.Proficiency in US GAAP, SEC reporting requirement, and accounting principles.Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate effectively and project a professional image when giving and taking information in writing, in person, and over the phone.Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries; Present a professional image in dealing with interdepartmental and external representatives.Accurate typing / keyboarding skills; basic computer skills, including the use of word processing, spreadsheet software applications, and e-mail.Ability to analyze and organize financial information and perform financial calculations; retain a broad knowledge of tasks performed in the operations functions and lending related compliance knowledge; take initiative and prioritize tasks.Organizational ability with strong supervisory and management skills.Employee Benefits & Perks
