- Process all incoming clinical faxes and mail.
- Prepare inactive records for storage and destruction per policy.
Vision - ODHS preferred partner in East Central Indiana for improving the well-being of individuals and the communities in which they live:
- Ensure incoming documents are routed to the proper patient chart and the appropriate staff for review.
- Capture electronic medical information to meet legitimate requests from courts, attorneys, patients, healthcare providers, disability determinations and other agencies.

Typical Working Environment: Frequent exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substance, medicinal preparations, and other conditions common to clinic environment. Tasks involve contact with blood or body substances.
Education: High School diploma or GED equivalency preferred.
Experience: Requires experience in scanning documents into electronic medical records systems along with experience in medical records. Preference will be given to those that have experience working with EMR.
