What are the responsibilities and job description for the Women's Emergency Shelter Case Aide position at Open Door Mission?
SCHEDULE : SUNDAY-THURSDAY 4PM-12AM Evenings. 40 HOURS / WEEK

restore hope and change lives of Rochester's men, women and children.

Since all our programs are residential, we can't compete with remote work scheduling. We demonstrate
the value in our employees through a generous 6-week time off policy and an employee assistance
program that provides 8 counseling sessions to each of our employees and their families.
In addition to the normal compensation and benefits, we offer a 6-month retention bonus and an
employee referral bonus.
Case Aids at our Women's Dorm work at a satellite extension of our Samaritan's House with a total of 14 beds. E mployees lovingly provide support and encouragement to our adult guests while maintaining safety and security standards of the Emergency Shelter . Must be willing to receive training and provide assistant with CPR, First Aid, and Narcan administration as needed.
Pay range $16.00- 18.00 per hour. A candidate with 3 years' experience or with peer coach certificate or equivalent may anticipate starting around $18.00 per hour.
Please be aware that the interview process includes a 2-hour shadowing opportunity on either Wednesdays or Thursdays between 12pm-4pm.
This is an onsite position.
