What you can expect
In this role, you will be helping adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities with their daily care. As a caregiver, you will be assisting residents in one of our day programming areas. You will have a strong support system with your supervisor and co-workers. Each day you will be able to build relationships with the individuals you help. This role allows you to give back to someone in the community that needs your help.
Your day will include assisting the clients with
- personal hygiene
- toileting & bathing
- preparing or assisting in meal preparation
- Passing medications
- Socializing
- organizing games and activities
- building relationships
Requirements
- Pass a Background Check
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Have a high school diploma
- Have a valid drivers license
