Job Overview:
The Residency Liaison will provide a high level of support and service to new and departing residents during their moving process. This position involves assisting residents with move-in and move-out logistics, ensuring smooth transitions, and addressing any needs or concerns to guarantee a positive experience for all. You will be a key point of contact for residents and the property management team. This part-time position requires availability from 9am-2pm Monday thru Friday with a pay rate of $16.00 an hour. This position will be located at our Fort Wayne office Monday-Thursday and in our Auburn office on Fridays. Training will take place in our Auburn office. No remote work
Key Responsibilities:
- Move-In Support:
- Greet new residents, coordinate move-in logistics, and explain amenities.
- Ensure residents receive necessary information, keys, and access to all services.
- Assist with the setup of utilities and community services as needed.
- Assist with portal set-up
- Move-Out Support:
- Coordinate move-out logistics, verify keys, receipts, and the proper completion of move-out paperwork.
- Create work orders when needed.
- Correspond with residents by sending reminders and keeping with timelines.
- Customer Service:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for residents during move-in and move-out.
- Maintain communication with residents, management, and contractors to ensure all needs are met.
- Administrative Support:
- Maintain records of move-in/move-out schedules.
- Initiate inspection reports and maintenance requests.
- Ensure that all paperwork, including lease agreements and move-in forms, are completed accurately and on time.
- Support with other administrative tasks as assigned by management, such as answering phones and collecting payments.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or property management is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to handle sensitive information that must remain confidential.
- Friendly and professional demeanor, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
- Ability to problem-solve and work independently, as well as within the team.
- Familiarity with residential property management software is a plus, but not required.
- Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
- Familiar with Google workspace apps including Docs and Sheets.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to walk, stand, and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Comfortable with working in a fast-paced environment with variable duties.
