Job Purpose
The HIP quality assurance coordinator will assist in quality assurance activities. The HIP quality coordinator will be responsible for reviewing payments for discrepancies and addressing any quality deficiency
Essential Job Functions Including, But Not Limited To
oInvestigate claims for fraudulent activity and report findings.
oAdd, update and maintain vendor information for payment.
oGather, organize and enter vendor W9 information into MIP.
oEnter refunds into Careware as credits for monthly billing.
oAssist with crediting uncleared checks.
Valid LA Driver’s License
Required Education
A high school diploma required
Associate degree in accounting or business preferred or two to three years of accounting experience.

- Assist in quality activities

- Assist in Accounting functions
oEnter refunds into Careware as credits for monthly billing.
oAssist with crediting uncleared checks.
- Other Duties
- Adhere to department policies, procedures and objectives.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with both federal and state health information privacy laws.
- Assist other HIP staff in scanning and filing documents.
- Demonstrates eagerness to learn and assume responsibility; seeks out and accepts increased responsibility; displays a "can do" approach to work.
