Job Description:
This role manages the day-to-day Portfolio Management across all enterprise portfolios in support of the Strategic Value Realization Office. Partners with business partners and Finance, Planning, and Analysis (FP&A) to define and drive the strategic alignment with relevant IT to ensure various needs and opportunities are identified, prioritized, validated, and communicated. Owns and facilitates Portfolio cadences including Alignment, Spend Profile and Prioritization meetings. Partner with business partners and IT leadership teams to implement new strategies regarding governance and processes. Owns Portfolio Reporting including Kanban boards and Portfolio Dashboards/Metrics. Partners with FP&A to provide Portfolio financial and status reporting to senior leaders.
Job responsibilities:
Defines and drives the enterprise's strategic alignment with relevant IT and business owners to identify, prioritize, validate, and communicate various needs and opportunities.
Provides 100% visibility to multiple portfolios including overall portfolio solution roadmaps
Facilitates with business partners priority decisions, using investment category as guardrails
Facilitates Population and Usage of Connected Kanbans across all portfolios
Organizes, prepares for and facilitates meetings to review new and existing programs/projects across all portfolios.
Organizes and Facilitates Strategic and Objectives consensus on Intent and Outcome reviews
Prepare and share regular Portfolio status with senior management staff, all portfolios
Identify appropriate data to support portfolio measurements (flow, Capacity, and Portfolio Engagement) and track business value metrics (I.e., OKRS and Portfolio Value Levers)
Communicate tool configuration and dashboard development needs for LPM-related measurement and partner with OCM to communicate updates.
Prepare reports/presentations as required.
Required Skills:
3 years as a Portfolio Manager in an Agile environment
5 years of enterprise project management experience in broad-based information systems managing increasing project size and complexity that are transformational for the organization, full life-cycle application development and/or building enterprise applications; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background
Experience setting up a Portfolio level structure and/or SAFe Lean Portfolio Management a plus
Strong execution-level communication experience including executive-level reporting
Experience in an effective team environment, building strong relationships, negotiation, solving problems and issues, resolving conflicts, communicating, and influencing effectively at all levels of an organization required
Must be able to analyze, understand, and communicate complex ideas across a varied audience (including C-Level executives)
Experience creating Portfolio roadmaps, Kanban boards, and Dashboards a plus
Understanding of financials project management required.
Experience with JIRA and ServiceNow SPM is required a plus
Education & Certifications:
Requires a BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field of study
PMP, Agile, and SAFe certification a plus.
