Open Systems Technologies Corporation is looking for a Cloud Engineer to join our team of experts to assist with operations involving the Department of Justice.
Responsibilities
The Cloud Engineer shall plan, lead, and, if necessary, conduct site surveys and use the information acquired to produce a complete delineation of products, services, support equipment, and computer and electronic equipment installations required for the site to fully support mission operations. The engineer shall plan, direct, and, if necessary, conduct regular, special, and integrated system test programs. The engineer shall prepare and conduct special reports and presentations that contain actionable information that is pertinent to individual site operations. The engineer shall conduct integrated equipment system testing. The engineer shall plan, prepare, and conduct on-the-job training for FBI and junior contractor personnel, as required. The engineer shall coordinate with other field engineers to the benefit of the FBI and specifically, ONTU. The engineer shall support the unit with other duties as assigned within the scope of work.

Requirements:
- Clearance: Top Secret and willing to sit for CI Poly
- Engineer will be primarily responsible for managing/maintaining the Microsoft Azure Cloud environment, which is on the LOW side.
- The project will consider someone with AWS Cloud experience if they are open/willing to learn Azure.
- The team is currently going through an ATO for Federated Cloud Services on low side. Engineer will assist in STIGs and assessing security posture.
- Must be able to work with Security Engineers.
- Must be able to work with developers to troubleshoot issues as it relates to the Azure environment to include Docker and Kubernetes. Great problem-solving skills required.
- Azure Automation and ACR Tasks
- Managing Azure Containers
- Troubleshooting issues with AKS
- Support for those utilizing Azure DBs
- Troubleshooting VM deployments
- Understanding runbooks and troubleshooting issues there
- Standing up networks in Azure
- Azure Hardening – STIGs, experience with going through an ATO for a cloud environment.
