Current shift availability: 8AM - 4PM
This position is an entry level position in behavioral analysis the incumbent is required to maintain consistent and regular attendance; communicate effectively (orally and in writing, when appropriate) in dealing with health care professionals, coworkers, clients, and/or members of the public in general. Develop and maintain knowledge and skills related to specific tasks, methodologies, materials, tools and equipment; complete assignments in a timely and efficient manner; and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
DEFINITION
Under direct supervision of the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) performs a variety of professional behavior analysis services.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES (Illustrative Only)
- Provide direct in-home client care in 1:1 settings utilizing a combination of intensive teaching and natural environment training arrangements physically in-person.
- Follow the prescribed behavioral skills acquisition and behavior reduction protocols as developed by the BCBA.
- Collect, record, and summarize data on all observable client behavior.
- Interpret and implement clinical protocols written by the BCBA.
- Assist with parent and caregiver training in line with client’s individualized treatment and behavior reduction protocols.
- Effectively communication with caregivers regarding client progress as instructed by the BCBA.
- Assist BCBA with skill acquisitions and behavior reduction assessments.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized workspace is available for a supportive therapeutic environment.
- Collaborate with treatment team including client, parents, and caregivers, outside professionals, and clinical team.
- Attend ongoing training and development as it relates to clinical skills, professional, ethics, and technology in order to efficiently perform job duties and to maintain required standards.
- Commitment to maintain client confidentiality and adhere to Health Information Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA).
- Adhere to organizational policies and procedures.
- Must hold and maintain current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician as issued by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience:
- Possession of a current Registered Behavior Technician Certification or;
- Bachelor’s Degree and is able to obtain RBT Certification within 6 months of employment.

- Ability to write legibly.
- Possess a valid and current driver’s license with current insurance.

- Must have visual acuity to read and comprehend written communication through computer, electronic devices, and paper means.
- Mobility - Constant sitting and bending, for long periods of time while operating a keyboard; occasional walking, bending of neck, squatting, climbing stairs, kneeling, and twisting.
- Lifting - Occasional lifting and carrying of 25 pounds or less.
- Vision - Constant use of overall visual capabilities; frequent need for use of color perception, hand/eye coordination, reading and/or close up work.
- Dexterity - Constant typing; frequent repetitive motion and writing; occasional grasping, pushing, pulling, and reaching.
- Hearing/Talking - Constant hearing and talking of normal speech in person and on the telephone.
- Special Requirements - Occasionally requires weekend, evening work or driving.
- Emotional/Psychological - Constant concentration, decision making and public contact; occasional ability to exercise sound judgment, especially under stressful situations; and working alone.
- Environmental Conditions - Occasional exposure to noise, hazardous materials i.e. dirt, dust, gas, smoke, fumes, and poor ventilation; occasional exposure to outdoor conditions, indoor cold/heat, and working around equipment and machinery.
- Working Conditions - Primarily performed in an office or home environment which is typically quiet.
