Job Summary
The Senior Building Maintenance Technician will be responsible for leading the safety and functionality of our facilities. This role will perform routine and extensive preventative maintenance and repairs in our facilities to ensure efficient operational functionality. The Senior Building Maintenance Technician will lead regular inspections and respond to maintenance requests for a variety of building maintenance repairs.
Job Description
Lead routine maintenance and repair tasks in and around the building, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry work.
Lead development and implementation of preventive maintenance schedules to extend the life of building systems and equipment.
Lead regular inspections to identify and address safety hazards, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Schedule and prioritize preventative maintenance assignments on a scheduled basis.
Diagnose and repair building systems and equipment malfunctions promptly to minimize downtime.
Maintain an inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies necessary for building maintenance tasks.
Respond to emergency maintenance requests promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to building occupants.
Record and maintain detailed audit records of maintenance and repair activities, including work orders, materials used, and inspections.
Implement and enforce safety protocols for the maintenance team.
Generate and present reports on maintenance metrics, equipment status and resource utilization.
Operate computerized Energy Management systems.
Respond immediately to emergency situations (fire, evacuation, equipment failure, etc.) and maintenance concerns
Provide excellent customer service. Respond to fix requests/problems in a timely and courteous manner
Performs other duties as assigned

Skills Required
Proven experience in building maintenance, construction, or a related field.
Excellent knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry systems. Significant commercial electrical experience is highly preferred.
Ability to use hand and power tools effectively.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Excellent knowledge of safety protocols and regulations.
Education/Training/Certifications
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent and 10 years of relevant experience Required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $36.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
