QS Nurses, an Openwork Company, is looking for a Staffing Specialist to help us grow and strengthen relationships with both our clients and healthcare professionals (HCPs). This role is essential in ensuring that our active database is effectively managed, and both clients and HCPs receive the highest level of service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the active client and HCP database, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date information.
- Proactively call active clients to assess ongoing needs, build relationships, and identify opportunities for diversification.
- Maintain strong relationships with HCPs by connecting weekly to discuss availability for shifts and contract opportunities.
- Ensure candidate concerns are addressed promptly by escalating to management when necessary.
- Gather and update relevant information on new clients, keeping systems current with accurate contact details.
- Collaborate with hiring managers weekly to align on hiring needs.
- Facilitate quick initial shift placement for new hires, aiming for placement within their first two weeks of activation.
- Assist with staff planning and engage with clients to receive and fill job orders.
- Keep clients updated on credentialing processes and follow up with nursing staff on expiring credentials.
- Encourage renewals and extensions for client contracts.
- Provide on-call support as needed.
- Support staff recognition and appreciation initiatives, including birthday and anniversary cards and other engagement programs.
- Represent QS Nurses/Openwork’s culture as a brand ambassador and uphold service excellence standards.
- Maintain system documentation and report to the Staffing Manager

- Experience in customer service, staffing, recruiting, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to handle high-volume outbound calls efficiently.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Passion for providing excellent service to both clients and healthcare professionals.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
