ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION :

Operation PAR, Inc. is a non-profit organization offering the full continuum of services for individuals with substance use and / or mental health disorders. PAR has been providing comprehensive behavioral health treatment in west Florida since 1970 through advocacy, education, clinical service, and research. PAR’s Medication Assisted Patient Services (MAPS) Program provides quality out-patient opioid maintenance therapy to individuals suffering from the effects of Opioid Use Disorder (OUD).

JOB SUMMARY :

Responsible for improving the competency of direct service staff and providing structured processes for them to learn and develop clinical skills. Provides opportunities for clinical staff to explore clinical practices, build theories, and examine how they may act in their professional roles. Develops a framework for evaluating clinical skills, abilities, and knowledge. Responsible for the supervision of counselors, oversight of family services, and monitoring TANF billing across clinical programming. This role also involves the implementation of the Invitation to Change curricula in outpatient settings and maintaining a small caseload as needed. The Clinical Supervisor ensures high-quality care and compliance with all regulatory requirements, while fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Supervision of Counselors / Case Managers :
  • Provide clinical supervision, guidance, and support to counselors with primary focus being family services.

  • Provide clinical supervision, guidance, and support to case managers and behavior health consultants.
  • Conduct regular supervisory meetings, case reviews, and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure staff adherence to ethical standards and best practices in behavioral health.
  • Oversight of Family Services :
  • Oversee the delivery of family services, including FIS and Motivating New Parents.

  • Develop and implement program policies and procedures.
  • Monitor program effectiveness and client satisfaction.
  • TANF Funding :
  • Manage and oversee TANF-billing programs and services.

  • Ensure compliance with funding requirements and regulations.
  • Utilize PowerBI to monitor numbers and maintain consistency.
  • Care Coordination :
  • Oversee Care Coordination services.

  • Utilized PowerBI to monitor and maintain consistency
  • Implementation of Invitation to Change Curricula :
  • Implement and oversee the Invitation to Change curricula in outpatient settings.

  • Train staff in the application of the curricula.
  • Monitor the use of the curricula.
  • Oversight and Recruitment for Co-Parenting CAC Program :
  • Oversee the Co-Parenting CAC program, ensuring program objectives are met.
  • Recruit and support staff involved in the Co-Parenting CAC program.
  • Monitor program outcomes and make adjustments as necessary to improve effectiveness.
  • Caseload Management :
  • Maintain a small caseload as needed.

  • Provide direct clinical services to clients, including assessment, treatment planning, and therapy.
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation of client interactions.
  • Collaboration and Communication :
  • Collaborate with other departments, agencies, and community partners.

  • Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, staff, and external partners.
  • Quality Assurance and Compliance :
  • Participate in quality assurance activities and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Address client complaints and grievances in a timely manner.
  • EDUCATION, LICENSURE, AND EXPERIENCE :

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in behavioral health, including supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge of TANF funding regulations and requirements.
  • Training and experience in the Invitation to Change approach.
  • Strong clinical skills and the ability to manage a caseload. Experience working with families preferred.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • WORK ENVIRONMENT AND SCHEDULE :

    Treatment program and office environment with occasional travel to different service sites across Pinellas County.

    Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings as needed.

    SKILLS AND ABILITIES :

  • Ability to write accurately and legibly
  • Moderate proficiency in the use of Microsoft Windows-based computers
  • Ability to accurately type at least 40 words per minute.
  • Ability to sit at a desk and view a display screen for extended periods of time
  • Ability to bend, stoop and reach and to lift and carry 10 pounds
  • Ability to sit in meetings for extended periods of time
  • Ability to move throughout program facilities both indoors and outdoor
  • Ability to lift and carry 10 pounds
