Accountant Bookkeeper
Education: Bachelor’s or Associate's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required. Bookkeepers with 5-plus years of experience and recent experience using QuickBooks Online will be considered.
Job Summary: OSDRI seeks an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant Bookkeeper to manage daily financial transactions among several grants. The ideal candidate will have expertise in QuickBooks Online and be familiar with maintaining accounts payable/receivable.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day accounts payable and receivable
Record financial transactions in QuickBooks Online and ensure accuracy
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting regulations
Collaborate with team members and assist with other accounting tasks as needed
Provide support during audits by preparing requested financial information
Maintain organized and up-to-date filing systems for financial documents
Qualifications:
Strong understanding of general accounting principles and practices
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
BA or AA in accounting, finance, or related field
Bookkeepers with at least 5-plus years of experience are preferred
Proficient in QuickBooks Online; experience with other accounting software is a plus
