Job Summary: We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our aerospace manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting and ensuring that all components and assemblies meet the highest quality standards, adhering to industry regulations and specifications. This role is critical in maintaining product integrity and safety in our day to day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
· Conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with aerospace standards and specifications.
· Utilize precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other testing equipment to assess product quality.
· Review and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and quality documentation to verify adherence to specifications.
· Document inspection results, non-conformance reports, and corrective actions, maintaining accurate records for traceability.
· Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address quality issues and implement improvements.
· Participate in internal audits and assist in preparing for external audits to ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., AS9100, FAA regulations).
· Report to management to develop and update inspection procedures and quality standards as needed.
· Provide training and support to production staff on quality control processes and best practices.
· Assist in the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives related to quality and efficiency.
Qualifications:
· Experience as a Quality Control Inspector in the aerospace manufacturing industry preferred.
· Strong knowledge of quality control standards and methodologies specific to aerospace.
· Familiarity with inspection tools and techniques for precision measurement.
· Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively report findings and collaborate with team members.
· Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions:
