Job Description :
As a Quality Control Inspector , you will be responsible for conducting detailed inspections, performing tests, and verifying that all manufactured components align with strict aerospace standards and customer specifications. This position requires expertise in using precision measurement tools, interpreting technical documentation, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations such as AS9102. You will collaborate closely with the production and engineering teams to maintain quality excellence throughout the manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform inspections on raw materials, in-process parts, and final products using precision tools such as micrometers, calipers, and CMMs.
- Review engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure conformity to design and quality standards.
- Conduct visual inspections and functional tests to identify defects, deviations, and non-conformance issues.
- Interpret and apply industry standards and regulatory requirements, including AS9100 and NADCAP.
- Document and report non-conformances, collaborating with production teams to implement corrective actions.
- Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality processes.
- Maintain accurate inspection records and assist with internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean working environment.
- Complete and verify first article inspection (FAI) documentation per AS9102 requirements.
Qualifications :
Experience : 3-5 years in aerospace manufacturing as a Quality Control Inspector.
Education : High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications or a degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
