Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Operations and Maintenance Technician to join our team at Operational Technical Services. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing mechanical/pumping equipment repair skills and experience with electrical systems to provide maintenance and repair as needed.
The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years' experience in a wastewater treatment facility, operation, and maintenance, or any equivalent combination of education. They will possess a strong understanding of how to operate and maintain mechanical units that process F.O.G. using decanting techniques and boiler systems that utilize high heat for grease separation.
In this role, you will participate in the daily operations and maintenance of the Grease receiving unit, operate and maintain all components of the unit, perform preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance of all the unit equipment, and coordinate to ensure that other plant employees and visiting contractors/haulers follow established administrative, safety, and operating policies.
