Job Description
The Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Specialist will be responsible for supporting operations in the Southeast region with occasional travel in other regions of the eastern coast of the United States. The successful candidate will work closely with Area Managers and Project Managers to support project demands, provide technical support and training onsite to implement the Asset Management Program, and utilize W&C technical platforms for data collection.
Responsibilities
- Support project demands with Area Managers and Project Managers
- Implement the Asset Management Program with technical support and training onsite
- Utilize W&C technical platforms for data collection: Utility Cloud, Hach WIMS, Do Forms, Power BI, etc.
- Provide operations and maintenance support at water and/or wastewater treatment facilities
Requirements and Qualifications
- Willingness to work in both indoor and outdoor environments including inclement weather
- Solid water and wastewater background which may include certifications and licenses
- Supervisory experience
- Experience with utility technology software including Hach's Water Information Management System (Hach WIMS) is a plus
- Knowledge of the water and wastewater industry to include equipment, controls, and process
