Job Summary:
- Operate, inspect, clean, repair, replace and maintain piping, valves, motors, grinders, pumps, aerators, screens, compressors, filters, clarifiers, UV disinfection system, chemical feed systems and related equipment.
- Perform treatment plant rounds inspecting, monitoring, and documenting plant operations by reading plant equipment gauges, dials, computer screens, graphs, and other instrumentation, adjusting process controls as directed by the Chief Plant Operator.
- Identify operational problems and ensure they are corrected.
- Safety is a top priority. Support safety standards established by federal, state, and local laws, ordinances and regulations.
