Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Water Treatment Facility Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the operation and maintenance of wastewater facilities and equipment.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar position, with a strong understanding of wastewater treatment processes and procedures. They will also possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
- Assist in the operation and maintenance of wastewater facilities and equipment, including piping, valves, motors, grinders, pumps, aerators, screens, compressors, filters, clarifiers, UV disinfection systems, and chemical feed systems.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks, including lubricating equipment, washing process equipment, and performing landscape duties.
- Identify operational problems and ensure they are corrected, adhering to safety standards established by federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, and regulations.
- Support collection system inspections and cleaning, operating various tools and equipment as necessary.
- Perform basic skilled water pollution control laboratory testing and analysis, taking samples and adhering to quality assurance programs for laboratory analysis and instrumentation.
Requirements
- CURRENT CALIFORNIA GRADE I, II, III WASTEWATER CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
- 1-5 YEARS OF PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN A SIMILAR POSITION
- HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR EQUIVALENT
- VALID CA DRIVER'S LICENSE
- CLASS B CDL DESIRABLE
