Job Description
ICS Network Architect
Tampa, FL – hybrid – 3 days onsite/2 days home office
We are seeking an experienced ICS Network Architect to design, implement, and secure industrial control system (ICS) networks for our utility operations. This role involves developing network architectures that ensure the reliability, security, and compliance of operational technology (OT) systems, with a focus on industry standards such as NERC CIP, IEC 62443, and best practices for critical infrastructure.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5 years of experience in ICS/OT network design and security.
- 2 years of experience in SCADA, DCS or PLC
- Strong knowledge of industrial protocols (Modbus, DNP3, IEC 61850).
- Experience with firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and network monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (NERC CIP, ISA/IEC 62443, NIST 800-82, IEC 62443, etc.).
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and optimize ICS/OT network architectures for utility operations.
- Ensure compliance with NERC CIP and other cybersecurity regulations.
- Implement segmentation, firewalls, and secure remote access solutions.
- Collaborate with IT and OT teams to enhance network resilience.
- Assess and mitigate cybersecurity risks in ICS environments.
