Electronics PCB Tester
Position Summary
OPEX Corporation is currently looking for a full-time Electronics PCB Tester to work at our World Headquarters in Moorestown, NJ. We are looking for a worker who is able to commit to a full-time schedule during our day shift that runs from 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM or 2nd shift from 3:00 PM – 11:30PM.
All interested candidates must have strong logic skills and be able to follow written processes correctly. If you are a communicative, diligent, punctual and detail-oriented individual then OPEX may be the right place for you to pursue your career.
Essential Responsibilities
· Inspect & Test Electronics PCBs using automated Test Equipment and methodologies to ensure PCB functionality
· Troubleshoot minor problems based on visual inspection, basic multimeter techniques (short circuits, open circuits) training provided by Electronics Technicians in the department
· Record pass and fail results of tested PCBs
· Load production software into PCBs
· Serialize, package & label parts according to standard operating procedures
· Complete all paperwork correctly and promptly according to standard operating procedures
· Follow 5S Procedures to ensure compliance
· Assist others in the department with various tasks including inventory, parts ordering, etc.
· Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Detail oriented, must be able to follow work instructions carefully
· Must be reliable, conscientious and hard working
· Ability to produce high quality results
· Solid communication skills, verbal and written.
· Ability to work as part of a team
· Basic understanding of electronics/computer hardware is a plus
· Soldering experience SMT & thru hole a plus
· Manufacturing / production experience desirable
· Associate’s Degree in Electronics, or Technical School education a plus
Physical/Work Environments
· Sitting or standing for extended periods of time
· Occasionally lift 25 pounds
· Squatting, bending, kneeling, reaching overhead, reaching forward may occur while on the job
