About us

We are an Eyecare practice striving to provide excellent and efficient care for our patients.

We are looking for someone to begin work soon. This is a position which requires attendance Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday, from 7 AM-4:30 PM. You must be able to commit to these days and times for this position. There is flexibility if needed.

We are looking for someone who wants to find a long-term home and will be able to increase their hours and responsibilities as the practice continues to grow.

We are a growing medical practice that is in need of a Medical assistant or Ophthalmic technician. Experience in Ophthalmology is desired, but NOT necessary. We are open to training for the right candidate. Experience at a medical office is a requirement.

The ideal candidate will have experience in ophthalmology and be able to provide quality patient care. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing patient work ups, taking patient histories, and assisting the doctor with diagnostic tests and procedures. The Ophthalmic Technician must also have excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex medical information in a way that is easy for patients to understand.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform ophthalmic tests such as visual acuity, tonometry, OCT and fundus photography.
  • Assist ophthalmologists in the treatment of eye diseases.
  • Maintain patient records and document test results.
  • Provide patient education on eye care and safety.

Successful potential candidates should include a personalized cover letter, resume and 3 professional references. References should be professional in nature and state the references full title/email address/phone number, place of employment, dates you were employed with them and their working relationship to you (i.e Manager, Director, Supervising Physician etc).

  • Are you willing to drive to a satellite one day a week which is 30 minutes south of the main office?
  • You will need to commit to being able to work Monday, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Please confirm that you will be able to work these days.
