LOCATION: Lehi, UT


POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) who is well-connected within the property management and PropTech industry. This role will be critical in driving our sales efforts by identifying and engaging prospective clients who can benefit from our innovative solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong network in the property management sector, a deep understanding of the PropTech landscape, and a proven track record of generating leads and building relationships in this space. RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead Generation

  • Identify and research potential customers in the multifamily sector through various channels, including cold calls, emails, and social media outreach.
  • Utilize existing network and industry connections to identify key opportunities within the property management and PropTech sectors.

Qualifying Leads

  • Engage with prospects to understand their needs, pain points, and business objectives; ensure quality leads are passed on to the sales team.

Outbound Prospecting

  • Execute outbound campaigns to create interest in our products and services, with a focus on setting up demonstrations and meetings.

CRM Management

  • Maintain accurate records of interactions with prospects and track lead status in our CRM system.

Collaboration

  • Provide valuable feedback to the marketing team about industry trends and potential opportunities.
  • Work closely with the sales team to share insights and feedback on market trends and customer needs.

Performance Tracking

  • Meet or exceed monthly quotas for qualified appointments set and follow up on leads.
  • Ensure a positive and professional representation of Opiniion at all times, adhering to company standards.

Product Knowledge

  • Develop a thorough understanding of our SaaS offerings to effectively communicate value propositions tailored to the multifamily industry.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2 years of experience in a business development or sales role, with a focus on the property management or PropTech industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully generating and qualifying leads in a B2B environment.
  • Established network of contacts within the property management space, including property managers, owners, and PropTech decision-makers.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, ZohoCRM, Salesforce) and lead tracking tools.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Understanding of property management software, PropTech solutions, and related technologies is a plus.
