The Plant Continuous Improvement Manager is responsible for the planning, directing, and coordination of continuous improvement activities and events that result in savings for the facility.
Responsibilities include:
- Product Line (P&L, Manufacturing, Quality, Scrap, Safety, Training)
- Manage Continuous Improvement through planned events
- Direct activities that result in cost savings for the facility
- Gather, analyze and maintain data, including reporting of trends and improvements
- Manage and coach the manufacturing and continuous improvement associates to ensure optimal safety, quality, and productivity standards
- Other duties as assigned
- Must successfully complete all required training
- Must comply with all safety rules and regulations
- Maintain the 5-S system
- Must comply with all company policies and procedures
- Lead all departments in lean manufacturing practices, implement and drive solutions
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Industrial, Business Management or Engineering, preferred. Equivalent work experience will be considered
- Requires good written and verbal communication skills and good human relation skills.
- Minimum of 7 years of manufacturing experience. Blow Molding is a plus.
- Must have a workable knowledge of budgets, inventory, costing, scheduling, and customer interface. Must successfully complete all training.
- At ease and effective in a matrix, multicultural and fast evolving environment
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without the requirement for sponsorship or transfer of Visa now or in the future
